Maturing
Milk is too valuable a resource to waste. That’s why we devote great care and attention to every cheese we mature. Each cheese is given the time it needs to develop, allowing the rich, full flavor our cheeses are known for to emerge.
Cutting & Grating
At Vergeer Holland, almost no raw material goes to waste. We slice our cheeses as efficiently as possible, leaving as little residual material as we can. What cannot be cut into slices or pieces is processed into delicious grated cheese. This way, we use every gram of cheese in a responsible and flavorful manner.
Packaging
We are constantly working on new, more recyclable packaging and improving our processes to produce ever more efficiently and sustainably. In this way, we combine quality with care for people and the environment.
Assortment
We carefully tailor our consumer packaging to the needs of the market. This ensures that the portion sizes match the consumer’s usage. In this way, we help to minimize food waste.
