Recyclable packaging for cheese slices
We are proud to announce that our delicious cheese slices are now available in fully recyclable packaging. With this, we are taking an important step towards a more sustainable future.
14% less packaging material
We have also managed to reduce the weight of the packaging by as much as 14%. This adjustment not only contributes to a more sustainable environment, but also aligns with our strategy to make all packaging fully sustainable.
The new packaging complies with the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), a directive aimed at reducing packaging waste and increasing reuse. As a company, we want to set a good example with our own Vergeer brand and inspire others to package more sustainably. The renewed packaging is now available in supermarkets. Towards a greener future!
